““When someone really hears you without passing judgment on you, without trying to take responsibility for you, without trying to mould you, it feels damn good…”
– Carl Rogers

Person-Centred Counselling

I work according to the person-centered approach, which goes back to the American psychologist Carl R. Rogers. This approach focuses on the humanistic view of man, according to which each person strives for self-realization and has the necessary resources within themselves to do so. Counseling trusts in this assumption.

The person-centered approach is scientifically sound. If you would like to read more about the approach, here is the link to the Society for Person-Centered Psychotherapy and Counseling e.V. (GwG):

In a counseling session, you can talk about how you are feeling and what is bothering you. As a counselor, I try to understand your concerns both intellectually and emotionally and to formulate a counseling goal together with you. I also support you in finding your own ways to change your life.

Person-centered counseling can help you to integrate feelings, reflect on thought patterns and open up new perspectives for yourself.

Supervision

Supervision is a professional support process that is used in psychosocial or educational fields to promote professional development, effectiveness and reflection. In this supportive setting, professionals reflect on their professional practice and discuss current challenges.

This process aims to improve the quality of work, expand professional skills, reduce stress and contribute to personal development.

The supervision process can extend over several sessions or regularly accompany practical work.
